Also in my spare time, I am a dedicated Radio Amateur, conversing with countries far far away, and Redditch, generally using 2 way radios on a multitude of bands and modes. I have a good ASL here on the side of the Ridge. I run a FT857 into a 2/70 vertical, 11m vertical for hf use till I get my long wire up and Ascom 550se 4m radio into a 2m vertical.
You can often find me on s20 or our newly setup internet gateway on uhf, namely 430.050Mhz run by Dennis m0ERT, M0ERT-Link who is also of Redditch.
